I did a little cleaning today.

I get a new roommate tomorrow.

So, I thought I would try to clean the place up a bit...

...but I still haven't done a whole lot of it...I should do that...tomorrow might be kind of a busy day.

I again found myself practicing controlling light.

So more off camera light stuff.

Sunpak 383, bare flash firing @ 1/8 power towards the backdrop for backlight.
Vivitar 285HV, camera right, shooting through a 45" soft-satin umbrella firing @ 1/2 power for the front fill.

The Sunpak was triggered by a PC cable, and the Vivitar by the optical slave. I was surprised the optical slave was sensitive enough to 'see' the other flash from behind that umbrella.

I even got Gordon to sit for me.

But he was a little bitch about it.
