Both of my supervisors were gone for most of the morning. They left me to hold down the fort that is known as 'The CU Police Operations/Investigations/Patrol Office.'

Which doesn't mean much.
This seems to happen more and more often.

So yeah.

That's me...

My Office Supply Orders.

Also pictured is the rare specimen known as the Korean Mullet.

The Korean Mullet is a standard mullet, but raised to the second power.

As we all know...the mullet is known as the hairstyle which presents to the world, "business in front (short)...party in back (long)"

... Well...

The Mullet raised to the second power AKA the Korean Mullet is, "Party in front (long)...even more party in back (longer)"

I am all party.

Later in the afternoon I came downstairs to take Lacey for a walk. I turned to see that the sunshine was coming in through the window and bouncing off of the door knob. An ellipse of light was reflecting on the door. It reminded me of diagrams of the solar wind being repelled and being distributed around the earth's magnetosphere.

or something.

I ran upstairs to grab my camera.

...

It was one of those things little things that happens all the time...

...but had I come down minutes earlier or later I would not have seen it.

I would have not thought those things...Done those things...

...and thusly I left my house later.

Everything was set back by a couple minutes...and thusly...in a strange 'round about way...my life changed because of it.
