Day 563

...

Rode my bike around a little bit today.

Stopped @ Scott Carpenter.

...

So I was thinking...

blogger allows you to change the date for posts.

That is why I can be late on the daily picture now. I can have it say I posted it on the right day.

Some of you might remember a few moments in which I was out @ a bar with you or such, and realized I needed to rush home to post that day's photo...since facebook automatically tags the time...and because I was a little neurotic about having that day's photo be posted THAT SAME DAY.

Anyways...

The initial 365 days photo project ended earlier this year...but I continued...but not on facebook. I wanted more freedom in the way I presented the daily photo. Mostly I just wanted to be able to add music to some posts...but I wanted more control over the whole feel of the daily picture project...thusly...blogger.

And then I eventually quit facebook. And while the daily photos from the facebook era are on my flickr...they do not contain the captions I included on facebook. At first I didn't really give a fuck...but more and more I wish I could look at some of those posts I made.

So I have been thinking about transferring the first 365 days onto this blog. And that would be fine since blogger allows you to change the date stamp.

But ah yes...another thought.

I realized what would probably seal the deal on me reactivating my facebook (temporarily...only to retrieve the daily picture project) would be if people's comments were still present on the photos. I figured I would be able to take screen shots of peoples comments and included them at the bottom of the previous posts.

So I decided to check it out.

So I activated my facebook account for a few minutes...and checked things out.

Wudda ya know? People's comments are still there. Cool.

I also did some snooping around while I was on...I mean...what else is facebook for?

So I stalked a little bit.

And I still hate facebook. Fuck you facebook. I hate you. suck it.

anyways...

The comment thing...

...

People's comments are important. Back when I was strongly considering making the first 365 days a book (so strongly that I still have all the layouts complete. It's pretty much finished) the issue of people's comments came up. I didn't have a solid way to get people's comments in the book...and while I eventually nixed the whole book idea anyways...it was not solely due to the comment thing...but it had a part.

So now...if I decide to spend the rest of the summer getting ALL of the daily picture project on here...people's original comments will be on here.

But I mean really...it makes sense that the WHOLE project should be here...not just 365 +

....

Just thought I would share that...

anyways...

....

I got a letter in the mail today.

It was from Stacy. The one that moved out. The one that was doing the summer writing program. The one here for a month. The married one.

It was a nice surprise. I never get mail (but I eventually felt bad because my dear childhood friend Kara Tice and myself were pen pals shortly...but I always drop the ball on her...sorry Kara)

...

She misses Lacey.

I think Lacey misses her too.

I believe Lacey liked having another female presence around the house. Ever since I stopped living with Kait and Katya Lacey's time around other girls is few and far between...

...

Thanks for the letter Stacy.

...

P.S. 08/08/08 is coming up. 888! That means party time right?
